What does NCS Solar do?

NCS is a Lucknow-based solar company serving all of Uttar Pradesh. We work in four areas: supplying solar products to dealers, EPCs and bulk buyers; commercial and industrial solar plants; home rooftop solar under PM Surya Ghar; and regulatory and project consulting.

Why should I switch to solar?

Accepted Answer

A solar system turns your roof or land into your own power source for about 25 years, so you buy fewer units from the grid. With net metering, the units you generate are set off against the units you draw. Homes can get a government subsidy, and businesses can claim accelerated depreciation.

How do I know what size of system I need?

Accepted Answer

It depends on how many units you use each month and how much shade-free roof you have. As a guide for homes: up to 150 units a month suits 1–2 kW, 150–300 units suits 2–3 kW, and above 300 units suits more than 3 kW. For businesses, we size the plant from your load and tariff after a site survey.

How much subsidy can I get for rooftop solar at home?

Eligible homes in Uttar Pradesh can get up to ₹1,08,000: up to ₹78,000 from the Centre under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, plus up to ₹30,000 from the UP Government. As an MNRE-empanelled vendor, we prepare and file the paperwork for you, and the subsidy is credited to your bank account.

Do you install solar for factories and businesses?

Yes. We design, supply, install and commission rooftop and ground-mount plants for factories, warehouses, schools and institutions across UP. We also help you choose between CAPEX and OPEX models and prepare the technical documents lenders such as banks, NBFCs, IREDA and SIDBI need.

Can I buy panels and inverters from NCS for my own projects?

Yes. We're authorised stockists for Borosil, V-Guard and Velox, and resell other leading brands. We also supply 3–10 kW solar kits (DCR and non-DCR) and hot-dip galvanised structures, with GST invoicing and delivery across Uttar Pradesh.

How long does installation take?

Accepted Answer

It depends mostly on subsidy and net-metering approvals from your DISCOM, which vary by area. After the site survey we give you a timeline for your system and handle the approvals for you.

Does solar work in the monsoon and winter?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Panels produce less on cloudy or foggy days but keep generating, and systems are sized on total yearly generation, so seasonal dips are already allowed for.

Will my solar system work during a power cut?

Accepted Answer

A standard grid-connected (net-metered) system switches off during a power cut, so it can't send power into lines being repaired. If you need backup, a battery or hybrid setup is required, and we can advise on the right one.

Will installation damage my roof?

Accepted Answer

No. Wherever we drill, we seal the holes with chemical sealant to ensure there's no seepage, even in the rainy season.

What warranty do I get?

Accepted Answer

Panels, inverters and other products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Installations by NCS are also backed by our own workmanship warranty and after-sales support.
