How the subsidy reaches you
The subsidy is not deducted from the price you pay. You pay for the system, and once it is installed, inspected and commissioned by your DISCOM, you redeem the subsidy on the national portal and it is credited to your bank account. The step-by-step application process shows who does what. The national portal lists the scheme as closing on 31 March 2027.
